by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, 1889-1917, with State Porcelain Factiry marks, 1922, painted by Ekaterina Iakimovskaia
The can cylindrical with spreading rim, the body painted in purple with a maiden at a well and a milk maid in rural setting, with scroll handle, the saucer with rural paraphanalia, after a design by Mikhail Adamovich, within ochre borders, marked on bases
the saucer 5½in. (14.2cm.) diam.
