The double edged blade with single fuller and 8 inch false edge, marked bearing blade-makers marks at ricasso of a rose in a circle and a "skull and crossed bones"?, flattened section basket-hilt, wire wrapped grip.
36¾ inch blade
According to the consignor this sword was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the 1930s.
