The long octagonal barrel set with brass fore-sight and iron rear sight, marked J. KELLER/CARLISLE PA within a surround of engraved floral scroll work, back action lock plate marked and engraved en suite, varnished well figured "tiger-stripe" maple stock with brass and german-silver inlays and elaborate engraved patch-box inscribed with the original owner's name M. WOOLF, brass toe-plate engraved in the manner of the barrel and lock, brass butt plate
40 inch barrel
Fine brown patina to iron overall, wood with some marks and chip at toe, lacking nipple, patch-box with some denting, butt plate loose.
