Now Lying London, S.E.1

Château Latour--Vintage 1970
Pauillac, 1er cru classé. Château-bottled Embossed-metal capsules. Bin-soiled labels with slip labels "selected by John Harvey & Sons Ltd". Levels: Lot 88 base of neck or better. Lot 89 three very/top-shoulder, five top-shoulder, four upper/top-shoulder
Tasting note: A great Latour. Deep black core. Already yet to give its all. Massive and powerful on the palate. Tannic and structured but less austere than other vintages of Latour due to the sheer concentration of the fruit and the weight of glycerol. Expansive and complex with great length. Still an infant - might take ten years yet to show its best.
