Lieutenant Charles Pearman Steer was killed in action on 22.5.1917, while serving in the 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles (British Columbia Regiment). Aged 35 years, he was interred in the Ecoivres Military Cemetery at Mont St. Eloi in the Pas de Calais.
