2nd Lieutenant Charles William Deane Outred joined the Royal Naval Air Service direct from the ''Wavy Navy'' in February 1918, but does not appear to have been sent overseas following that date. Granted the honorary rank of 2nd Lieutenant, R.A.F. in January 1919, he was
demobbed in the same month.
