Lot Essay

Lieutenant Eric Joseph Finch, who joined the Royal Flying Corps from the 20th Battalion, London Regiment, in early 1918, went on to serve in No. 18 and 36 Balloon Sections between April and October of the same year. Transferred to the Unemployed List in April 1919, he was also the recipient of a Silver War Badge (Officers List No. 04502 refers).
