The published Military General Service Medal roll shows entitlement to the clasp 'Pyrenees' in place of that for 'Toulouse'.

Private Edward Bowen was born in Cork and enlisted locally in the 95th Regiment in August 1802, aged 21 years. In his subsequent career of 21 years with the Colours, he 'served in Germany, Denmark, the whole of the Peninsular War and in France', and was discharged, 'worn out', in December 1823.
