A Chinese huanhali wood rectangular box and cover
inset in mother-of-pearl, ivory and hardstone with a scene of boys playing hide-and-seek -- 5¼in. (13.1cm.) wide, 19th Century; a Chinese ivory brushpot carved and detailed with birds and butterflies amongst flowering prunus on a carved base -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high, incised signature to reverse, 18th Century; a Canton ivory cardcase of rounded form deeply carved with figures before pavillions and in a river setting -- 4¼in. (10.6cm.) high, 19th Century; and a Chinese stained ivory plaque mounted in tortoiseshell carved with a Chinese lady and her attendant reserved on a pierced ground of bats -- 3¼n. (8.3cm.) high, 19th Century. (4)
