The seascape on the wall behind the figures would appear to be by Jan Porcellis (see, for example, J. Walsh, The Dutch Marine Painters Jan and Julius Porcellis, The Burlington Magazine, CXVI, no 861, Dec. 1974, p. 740, fig. 33).
