A Chinese six-fold hardstone onlaid black lacquer screen
painted in gilt and onlaid in bone and various hardstones with numerous ladies at leisure in a fenced riverside garden, variously drinking tea, playing musical instruments, strolling and seated in conversation amongst plantain, pine and rockwork -- 50in. x 60in. (127cms x 152.2cms) overall, 19th century, (each panel with two drilled holes to top and bottom, chips, losses and old wear).
