A Cantonese hexagonal planter and stand
painted and gilt with ladies and dignitaries on terraces and in the garden of a pavilion amongst pine and rockwork within borders of peony and chrysanthemum sprays, the stand with butterflies amongst fruit and flower sprays -- the stand 5¾in. (14.5cms) wide, 19th century, (some glaze flaking).
