painted and gilt with peonies and fruiting pomegranate branches amongst rockwork -- 41/8in. (10.5cms) diam; an octagonal shallow bowl painted in underglaze blue and coloured enamels with floral pendants -- 5in. (14.2cms) wide; a pottery netsuke of a skull and snake -- 2¼in. (5.7cms) long; a blue and white netsuke modelled as a puppy seated with moveable front paws raised -- 2¼in. (5.6cms) long; a celadon and iron red square dish painted with a shrimp -- 53/8in. (13.5cms) wide; a blue and white bowl with birds amongst waves -- 77/8in. (20cms) diam; a blue and white flaring bowl with crabs -- 43/8in. (11cms) diam; and a blue and white lobed dish -- 83/8in.
