painted in iron-red and gilt with shaped panels of pagodas in river landscapes and ho-o in flight amongst blossoming trees and flowers, all on a ground of stylised calligraphy and floral and geometric motifs, the foot with a band of stiff leaves in underglaze blue, on a painted lacquer reticulated wood stand -- 39¼in. (99.6cm.) high, 19th Century.
