Although there is nothing distinctly Welsh about this refectory table, heresay suggests that it originated in the Brecon area of Wales.

With cleated twin plank top, stylised foliate facing frieze with gouge-carved edge and corner spandrels, with moulded channels overall, on turned legs with block feet and square section stretchers, variously branded with initials 'E.D.', 'I.D.' and 'W.L.' to the frieze and top edge
