Of George II style, the serpentine railed basket flanked by engraved and beaded flanges over the pierced fret, decorated with birds, serpents and foliate scrolls, flanked by tapering standards with urn-shaped finials, the backplate later adapted
30in. (76.5cm.) wide, 25in. (63.5cm.) high, 15in. (38cm.) deep
