A FINE COPY. In addition to the numerous cut-out engravings the extra-illustrations include 10 double-page plates of Italian subjects by Hackert. A slip pasted at the front reads, "Of this magnificent effort of modern typography, only 200 copies were printed." The "200" has been crossed out and replaced with "125." According to Brooks, however, there was a total edition of 128 copies. (2)
