the 19cm. diameter card signed Observator, Rotterdam is set within liquid filled gimballed bowl mounted within a brass binnacle housing with lantern, triangular glazed port, magnetic correction tubes and is screwed to a wooden diplay board; together with two U.S. Navy azimuth circles in wooden boxes, the compass -- 44cm. high
