A fully rigged wood and metal display model of the Royal Naval armed brig Halifax
with masts, yards, standing and running rigging and full suit of stitched linen sails with rope bindings and reefing points, horses, torso figure head, hair rails, anchors with bound wooden stocks, catheads, bitts, belaying rails and pins, gratings, windlass, bilge pump, companionway, six guns in carriages, deck rails, swivel guns, decorated stern and quarter windows, ship's boat with bottom boards, thwarts and oars and other details, finished in various colours with 'gilded' decoration, and mounted on two turned brass columns, in aid display base and brass bound display cover (one pane of glass cracked) -- 59 x 71cm.
