A fine and detailed static display model of the Steam Yacht Rover (1930)
with masts, radio aerial, rigging, anchors with chains, anchor davit and anchor winch, deck rails, fairleads, bollards, ventilators, companionways, raised superstructure with open bridge with helm, telegraph, binnacle, search and navigation lights, deck lights, stove pipe, stayed funnel finished in yellow with safety valve extension pipe and whistle, gratings, ship's boats in davits including three with covers, one steam launch with canopy, one with petrol engine and one with bottom boards, thwarts and oars and other details. The hull, with scored deck, stowed companionway, bilge keels, two three blade propellors and rudder is finished in cream and red and mounted on two turned brass columns, glazed display case -- 127 x 124.5cm.
