A metal sailing scale model of the German battleship Admiral Scheer (1934)
with details including masts, radio aerials, anchors, fairleads, deck rails, deck lights, anchor winches, main, secondary and anti-aircraft armament, superstructure with rangefinders, bridge, control tower, search lights, six ship's boats in chocks, funnel with derricks, cranes, companionways. torpedo tubes and other details. The hull, with rudder, two three-blade brass propellors and bilge keels is finished in red and grey (restoration to paint, power plant removed). Measurements overall -- 28 x 124cm.
