Lot Essay

This firman was issued by Shah Safi I under his seal engraved in AH 1038/1628 AD. It concerns the assessment of taxes to be collected from the districts of Qain and Tarwan. Mirza Muhammad Amin al-Husaini, the minister in charge, is advised to take action in consultation with Khwaja Bega, the minister, and the Beglarbeg of Khorassan.
