The British, Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Expedition (BANZARE), 1929-31: Four whole plate glass negatives:
(i) Hurley photographing from the bowsprit of the Discovery
(ii) The Discovery from the bowsprit
(iii) Hurley with his camera on the Discovery
(iv) Penguins on a shore (extensive retouching with paint)
each 8½ x 6½in. (21.7 x 16.5cm.)
with a folio of sixty-two prints by and after Frank Hurley, the majority posthumous reprints, including subjects from BANZARE, 1929-31 and from the Australasian Antarctic Expedition, 1911-12. (8)
