William notes in his journal for the 10 March 1789 'Arrived at our Ground at Anophur abt 8 o C., ...Encamped near the Rajah's house close to the side of the River. Cleaned my Gun & Pistols to Day in readiness for a Tiger hunt Tomorrow.'
