Lot Essay

There are ten drawings by this relatively unknown artist in the collection of Her Majesty the Queen, one of which is indistinctly inscribed 'Green del', (see A.E. Haswell and N.P. Dawnay, Military Drawings and Paintings in the Royal Collection, Oxford, 1970, vol I, pls. 188-9).
