Each of tapering squared form with cut corners and raised on a short foot rim, the exterior inlaid in mother of pearl with blossoming branches and a three character archaic form inscription, between a cloud collar border at the foot and a repeating flower head border at the rim, silver interior; together with an engraved silver stem cup, tang dynasty style, the deep form flaring at the rim and set onto a low domed foot, the exterior incised with two bands of birds among scrolling foliage divided by an incised central rib, all on a stippled ground, repeated on the foot
