The writing box of rectangular form with rounded corners, decorated with a fruiting peach tree within a grove of small pine trees beside a brook in gold hiramakie on a nashiji ground, continuing to the sides of the base and repeated on the underside of the lid, the removable implement tray with inkstone and silver waterdropper cast with blossoms
