Of circular form with slightly sloping rim, the interior finely engraved with a radiating ogival lattice of arabesque outlines overlaying scrolling tendrils issuing occasional flowerheads, the two together forming shaped panels filled with tightly scrolling motifs, the design extending continuously up onto the rim, the centre finely engraved with an armorial cartouche still with traces of silvering, rubbed, lacquered
