The body of the horn composed of a nautilus shell, mounted with a cylindrical mouth inlaid with pieces of mother-of-pearl, the sides with a wide band of interlocking triangles, between rectangular bands, the circular top with concentric bands of fish-scale shapes, surrounded by semi-circles and rectangular bands, surrounding a white-metal mouth, the stopper of ivory fixed by a chain to the body of the shell, silver tarnished, very slight losses
