The top with tooled black leather writing surface with inset inkwell, above an anthemion-mounted frieze drawer, flanked to each side by a further drawer hung with laurel festoons, above a panelled cupboard door centred by a griffin, the interiors fitted with four drawers, the reverse of similar form with panelled central section, the sides each with two panels centred by a spread-winged swan, the projecting angles each headed by a lion mask above a tapering pilaster mounted with a female bust, on plinth base
