The rectangular later plate flanked by Egyptian caryatids and surmounted by a panel centred by a shell and flanked by four figures emblematic of the Seasons and further flanked on each side by musical and martial trophies, the cavetto cornice studded with balls, the reverse inscribed in chalk 'Freeman', the paper backing to the reverse inscribed in ink 'Mr Stratford Cabinet Maker Gloster Mar 17/39', regilt
