Each with red-painted turned shafts, surmounted by a pine-cone finial, with red and blue felt banner with metal embroidered foliate borders, the central oval embroidered with the arms of the 2nd Life Guards and with battle honours 'DETTINGEN RELIEF-OF-KIMBERLEY PENINSULAR WATERLOO PAARDEBERG EGYPT-1882 TEL-EL-KEBIR SOUTH AFRICA 1899-1900', surmounted by a crown, further surmounted by a lion, on a reeded base with leaf-wrapped terminal and oval plinth
