A GEORGE III MAHOGANY BREAKFRONT BOOKCASE
The moulded rectangular cornice with broken triangular pediment with key-pattern frieze, above four geometrically-arranged astragal moulded glazed doors, the left side enclosing four adjustable shelves, the right side with five adjustable shelves, the central section with four long adjustable shelves, the lower section with four panelled doors, the central section enclosing three sliding shelves, the left side with four later fitted graduated drawers, the right side with a compartmentalised sliding drawer above three later fitted graduated drawers, on a plinth base, restorations, the handles apparently original, some drawer linings replaced, with plastic label 'PRESENTED BY PATRICK HENRY KIRKALDY HON TREASURER 1924-1936', the reverse with depository label for 'P.H. Kirkaldy'
