AN INDO-PORTUGESE BRASS-MOUNTED MOTHER-OF-PEARL VENEERED JEWEL CASKET

Each rectangular surface, including the reverse, with diaper-pattern decoration, on the front within a stylized geometric surround, each corner set with a flange decorated mount, each side with a bale handle, the front with ornamental hinges and stylized rosette lock-plate enclosing one long drawer decorated as three short drawers above a short drawer decorated as two drawers, flanked by four short drawers, lacking top section of lock clasp
8¼in. (21cm) high, 12½in. (32cm) wide, 91./4in. (23.5cm) deep
