The three-quarter galleried rectangular white marble top above a pair of mirror doors enclosing two shelves and a panelled roll-top set with a Bacchic mask on a sunburst, enclosing a pigeon hole above two drawers and a tooled black leather-inset writing surface, each side of the upper section set with a pair of putto holding aloft a large baluster-form vase, the frieze set with two short drawers, each side set with a foliate roundel, on tapering round legs with cap feet each headed by a molded collar, inscribed in black grease pencil 647 and 221, and in white chalk 101
