Painted in underglaze blue, gilt and famille verte enamels with a central Commedia dell'Arte harlequin figure in chequered costume dancing on a tiled floor with one leg raised in the air and holding up a hat in his left hand, inscribed 50 Percent op Delft gewonnen (Fifty per cent profit on Delft), all within a freely drawn frieze of overlapping leaves around the rim, some rubbing
