A pair of Grodnerthal dolls
dressed as a bride and groom, her comb painted yellow, wearing embroidered net dress over silk, mauve printed cotton skirt and net veil edged with lace, the groom in cream satin waistcoat, black tails and with spare coat -- the bride 8½in. (22cm.) high, the groom 7¼ (18.5cm.) high, circa 1840 (bride lacks lower right leg, face marked, small paint flake on hair, clothes probably made by a child, bodice silk rotting, net dusty)
