Meiji Period (late 19th Century), with signatures Joshun saku (made by Joshun) and Kisetsu koku (carved by Kisetsu)
Modelled as two Chinese lions on a rocky ledge, the lions of cast and chiselled silver with eyes inlaid in gold and shakudo, the rock-form base cast separately in bronze with a dark greenish patina, several small fungi on the rocks patinated with a reddish hue
