Kim Taejung graduated from the Seoul National University in 1963. He went to Taiwan in 1983 and graduated from the Chinese Culture University in 1986. He had one-person exhibitions in Tokyo at the Yurakucho Asahi Gallery in 1988 and at the Spiral Gallery in Tokyo in 1989. His paintings are in the National Museum of Contemporary Art and the collection of the Asahi Newspaper, Tokyo. He teaches in the Fine Arts Department of Taegu University.
