A Pair of Huanghuali Horseshoeback Armchairs, Quanyi

The curving toprail continuing in a curve to the arms terminating in swept-back round ends above shaped spandrels, supported on extensions of the round legs, and above the curved rectangular backsplat carved in relief with a cloud-collar panel, the tapered side posts resting on the paneled hard cane seat, the legs joined by shaped aprons, stretchers and a footrest
