A Zitan Baitong-Mounted Document Box, Jiaoxiang, and a Small Zitan Brass-Mounted Box, Xiaoxiang

Both of rectangular shape, the larger box with a circular lockplate mounted flush against the front and continuing over the beaded lip, with reinforcements on all corners and ruyi-head mounts on the top, and the smaller box mounted with delicate bail handles suspended from chrysanthemum mounting plates, the front with a circular lockplate mounted flush against the surface and continuing over the beaded lip, the top with ruyi-head mounts, the wood of each of a warm purplish hue with fine dense grain
The larger box 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high, 136in. (33.8cm.) wide, 76in. (18.9cm.) deep; the smaller box 36in. (8.1cm.) high, 87/8in. (22.6cm.) wide, 4.13/16in. (12.2cm.) deep (2)
