Tang Dynasty
Shown standing foursquare on a rectangular base, the head held alertly with ears pricked, the neck grooved for a mane and the tail dressed, the well-proportioned body covered with a straw glaze of pale yellow tone, highlighted by narrow streaks of green and amber glaze on one side of the neck and green glaze on the hoofs
