A Large Carved Zhejiang Celadon Charger

Heavily potted and carved in the center with a medallion of diaper pattern below a band of deeply carved lotus scroll in the well and a wavy band and demi-florettes on the flat rim, covered with a glaze of rich olive-green tone which continues over the foot, the convex base with a broad unglazed circle burnt orange in the firing
