Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue and probably late in the period
The well-potted body decorated with scattered flower sprigs reserved on a pale lime-green ground incised with scrolling fern-like tendrils and flowers, the mouth rim glazed white and the interior of the neck and base surrounding the nianhao covered in a pale turquoise glaze

Lot Essay

The flowers on this vase are similar to those on a turquoise-enamelled vase with a gilt Qianlong seal mark from the collection of A.J.B. Kiddell included in the O.C.S. exhibition, The Arts of the Ch'ing Dynasty, London, 1964, no. 213.
