the centre painted with the arms of Smyth of Long Ashton impaling Wilson within rose garlands and an oval cartouche reserved on an Imari-palette ground painted with the 'Dragon in Compartments' pattern, Chamberlain's/Worcester/No. 70 script mark in puce, paper label inscribed ARMS OF SMYTH OF LONG ASTON, SOMERSET, BARONET 1859, IMPALING WILSON, circa 1800 (restored area to rim, star-crack to reverse, slight wear to gilding) - 39.5cm. wide
