An English porcelain vestal lamp
perhaps Coalport or Chamberlain's Worcester, of depressed oval form, modelled as a bronzed figure of a Vestal pouring a gilt ewer in to the central oval aperture, the shoulder with iron-red anthmemion on a gold-ground above a band of gilt key-pattern and with foliate spout, on spirally-wrythen stem and trefoil foot, circa 1815 (cover deficient, chips) -- 23.5cm. wide
