One side natural, the opposing stained red, the kings with tulip-shaped finials, the queens with ball knop finials, both on concentrically turned barrel stem with incised circular banding, the pawns of baluster form
King -- 3.18in. (8cm.); pawn -- 1½in. (3.5cm.) high
