Satyrae, Birmingham: John Baskerville, 1761. 4° (a few leaves dampstained, occasional spotting and browning), contemporary calf, the covers with an elaborate border incorporating bird and insect motifs, crowned armorial with motto "Virute Non Verbis" at centre (neatly rebacked, head of spine replaced in old style), "Stratford Canning e. dono Fred.
