Lot Essay

Jensen's silver has some affinities with Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau work, especially in its use of organic, pod and tendril motifs and shapes. Ornamentation tends to be restricted to features such as knops, feet and handles. Geometric forms and motifs were stringently avoided.
