Crossbanded overall in rosewood, the rectangular moulded top above a plain frieze, the cylinder centred by a fan-motif within an oval, the slide with a green baize-lined writing surface, enclosing later a fitted interior with four open compartments, four drawers and a central door, the bombé base with three graduated drawers and a waved apron, on splayed feet, restorations
